Adam joined the LBIC team in 2019, initially as a Waste Technician, before advancing to Facilities Coordinator in 2021, and Facilities Manager in 2024. As Facilities Manager, Adam plays a crucial role in ensuring high standards of service delivery at LBIC. This includes overseeing safe working conditions, managing the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring procedural compliance. As LBIC’s sustainability champion, Adam has undertaken further qualifications in business sustainability management to understand and improve environmental impact within the business.
With a background in biotechnology, Adam studied at Newcastle University, where he conducted research on biopesticides and engineering drought resistance in crops using CAM photosynthesis. In parallel to his role at LBIC, Adam worked part-time in a client laboratory, gaining hands-on experience in techniques such as qPCR, Western blots, cell culture and gene array analysis.
Through his work, Adam contributes to the long-term success and reputation of LBIC, building client retention and fostering a stronger brand presence within the scientific community.
