High Force Research Ltd (HFR) collaborates with companies at the ‘proof of concept’ stage of the drug development process, specializing in the area of small molecule process development and scale up.
Operating out of a 1000 m2 facility based on the outskirts of Durham, two segregated laboratories operate to cGMP, producing material for early stage clinical trials. These facilities have been inspected by the MHRA as recently as March 2010.
Manufacture is backed by recently upgraded analytical facilities including 400 MHz NMR, head space GC, GPC and prep HPLC capability.
HFR looks to partner with SME pharmaceutical and biotech companies as well as smaller operations spinning out of larger companies or academic institutions.
As well as API manufacture HFR is also involved in the areas of drug delivery systems, diagnostics, and materials for electronics applications.
