Patricia Latter


  • Patricia LatterPatricia Latter joined the Royal Veterinary College in 2002, as Head of Business Development to support and develop all aspects of the College’s commercial interactions. In addition, she is Deputy Director of the London BioScience Innovation Centre.

    Patricia has an extensive background in technology transfer from academia to industry with positions held at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, the British Technology Group (BTG plc) and the Royal Postgraduate Medical School. In 1997 Patricia became Head of Medical Sciences Team of Imperial College Innovations Ltd.

    Patricia has been involved in the formation and initial financing of a series of bioscience spin-out companies; as well as licensing new technologies into pharmaceutical, medical diagnostics, biotechnology and animal health companies.  She was a founder member of the Heptagon life science proof-of-concept fund and a founding committee member of Praxis, the UK technology transfer training organisation.

    Patricia has a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and previously worked in research administration, scientific public relations and marketing.
