About LBIC

LBIC provides a focus for life sciences activity in the capital, offering exceptionally high standard laboratory and office facilities and a professional front door that cannot fail to impress. 

The creation of the London BioScience Innovation Centre in 2000 was a direct response to the evident shortage of accommodation for life sciences activity in central London. 

LBIC formed a key part of the London Development Agency’s strategy for life sciences, with the objective of developing a commercial life sciences cluster around the capital’s world-class knowledge base.

Owned by the prestigious Royal Veterinary College, LBIC is home to more than 50 biotechnology and life science companies, including small start-ups and more established players. 

LBIC’s location is second-to-none, just a short walk from King’s Cross, St Pancras International and Euston stations, the Francis Crick Institute and the British Library, providing free access to research materials and business support.

LBIC attracts biotechnology, life science product and diagnostic companies, contract research organisations, medical device companies and service providers.  

LBIC clients benefit from shared networking space and meeting rooms as well as close proximity to the various financial services available throughout the capital.
